The American Chemical Society’s Green Chemistry Institute publishes a bimonthly newsletter called The Nexus. The newsletter celebrates its fourth year of distribution this month (July/August 2012) with some great stories about student involvement in green chemistry and reports from the 16th Green Chemistry & Engineering conference that was held in Washington DC last month. If you scroll through the July/August newsletter you can find links to the following:

  • Conference slideshows: Awards session, Keynote session, Student session, General session (free)
  • Conference videos: 4 Keynote addresses (free)
  • Conference keynote panel Q&A video (free)
  • A new section of  the newsletter devoted to Next Gen Green Chemistry. This section contains several interesting articles about efforts to get college students more involved in green chemistry and reports on what these students are getting out of this experience

Best of all, you don’t need to be reminded to look for The Nexus. You can subscribe to it and have it delivered six times a year to your email inbox.
