Eric Schlosser will be speaking on “Sustainability and the Politics of Food” as the Whitely Distinguished Lecture at Pacific University on Thursday, April 22, at 7 PM.

Eric Schlosser is already known to many of you as the author of “Fast Food Nation: The Dark Side of the All-American Meal” and also as a talking head in the film that we screened last month, “Food, Inc.“.

The lecture will be held on the Pacific University campus (located in Forest Grove, OR, about 30 miles west of Reed) in the Taylor-Meade Performing Arts Center, McCready Hall. It is free and open to the public, and a Q&A session will follow his talk. Email Alan or Julie if you would like to attend this lecture. (Link to Pacific U. events calendar)
